Lake Info

Deep Creek Lake is a mountainous lake with plenty to do in and around the water

Deep Creek Lake is set right in the mountains of western Maryland. With 65 miles of shoreline and at over 2000 feet above sea level, this lake is often described as “Maryland’s best kept secret.” Boaters enjoy the especially clean waters and the chance to party with friends relatively unbothered. As long as you don’t bother other boaters or drink publicly, you can enjoy the lake for all it has to offer without lake officials stepping in. The lake is only about 10 miles off Interstate 68 and outside of boating; the lake offers recreational activities such as miniature golf, horseback riding and tubing.
